Appearance: She has a slightly heavy, but healthy build, with long blond hair that’s just beginning to gray and that she keeps up in a bun. She has a good assortment of scars and tattoos from over the years, the most apparent one goes up her left cheek and across her eye. Esme dresses practically and isn’t afraid to get dirty.
Background: Esme had a difficult childhood back on earth, filled with poverty and poor choices. She was married young, and had a daughter when she was only 18. But she and her husband had a lot of issues, and when she lost her daughter two years later Esme split, promptly divorcing him and catching the first ship she could off-planet. Venting her frustrations, she picked up a gun and began working as a bounty hunter. The loss of her daughter remains a very touchy subject with Esme.
For twenty-four years Esme has traveled around taking work, first just to be able to afford to live, but eventually developing a set of values and a skill with a gun that gave her much more of a purpose in life. Esme has firm morals and generally likes to help people, and is not opposed to turning down or abandoning a contract if she doesn’t agree with the job. She’s worked with several partners over the years, but after she split ways with her latest one she ended up on Omega with plenty of time on her hands, taking contracts from whoever needs her.
Skills: Esme always keeps a pistol handy to shove in someone’s face, but her real preference lies in sniper rifles. After years of traveling around, she’s picked up quite the assortment of random, useful skills; anything from hacking a safe to making blueberry pancakes. She’s also picked up a good collection of contacts and connections throughout the galaxy, and has dealt with enough outrageous situations that it’s hard for anything to intimidate her anymore.
Esme is a nice lady, but only as long as she doesn’t have a reason to shoot you. She enjoys sweets, collecting tea, explosives, and complaining about her ex-husband. |
